Dank of Colorado Supports the Park Hill Neighborhood

Greater Park Hill Community

December 4, 2019

Dear Dan and all the owners at DANK,

On behalf of the board, staff and volunteers of Greater Park Hill Community, Inc. (GPHC), I would like to extend a sincere thank you for your generous donation and continued support of GPHC. Our organization relies on the financial and material support of individuals like you to provide services and programs to the Greater Park Hill neighborhood.

In 2018 alone, we served hundreds of our neighbors through our food programs, including our Emergency Food Pantry, which served over 250 households and 700 individuals; Weekend Food Program, which served over 80 school children at three sites; Thanksgiving Giveaway, which served 346 households and over 1,280 neighbors; and Free Farm Stand, which served over 350 individuals with 5,800 pounds of fresh food.

Great strides are being made in our efforts to make Greater Park Hill a more sustainable and environmentally conscious place to live, work, and play. Each year we offer education in the form of workshops, events, and pledges that help residents initiate and maintain sustainable practices in their everyday lives. We also provide support to our neighbors who wish to bring their own initiatives to fruition. We firmly believe that together, we can make an impact.

We hope you will continue to support us by donating, becoming a member, and/or attending our monthly community meetings, held the first Thursday of the month, except for the months of July and December, at 6:30pm at 2823 Fairfax St.

You are cordially invited to attend our annual community events that have truly become Park Hill tradition. We hold the Park Hill Garden Walk in June, the Park Hill 4th of July Parade, and the Park Hill Home Tour & Street Fair each September. You can always find information on these events and more at greaterparkhill.org/events.

Thank you again for your gift.
